Your entry into practice - with prospects for your thesis
Ostseestaal is one of the most innovative companies in maritime steel construction. We manufacture complex components for shipbuilding, aviation and renewable energies - with precision, passion and high-tech. Data, analyses and key cost figures are becoming increasingly important for our corporate management - and this is where you come in!

What is it all about?

You will support our controlling team with the post-calculation of completed orders, analyse relevant project key performance indicators (KPIs) and help to anchor these in the company in a comprehensible and usable way. If you feel like it, you can even write your final thesis with us afterwards.

What you do:

You systematically recalculate selected projects and evaluate plan/actual deviations
You identify optimisation potential in collaboration with technology, AV and project management
You develop a logical KPI model for analysing and evaluating project types
You prepare figures and analyses in Excel and AMS.BI in an understandable way
You support the further development of our reporting
Optional: You prepare a practice-oriented final thesis on a suitable topic

formed sheet steel and welded constructions made from it. We realise demanding customer-specific projects for the aviation industry, renewable energies and yacht and special shipbuilding.

We are looking to strengthen our team at the Stralsund site with immediate effect:

Apprentice production mechanic

We offer interesting and challenging training in a modern and future-orientated company.
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will primarily learn skills and abilities in the following areas following areas:

Metal processing
Fügen
Milling basics
Turning basics
Manual arc welding
Gas welding
Gas metal arc welding
Operation of modern production machines
Basics of electropneumatics and electrohydraulics

In addition, production mechanics also lay electrical cables, attach them and connect them. Finally, you will ensure that the finished products and semi-finished products meet our high operational quality guidelines.

What we offer you:

The training allowance for a 40-hour week is around €900 in the first year and rises to €1,000 in the third year as the training period increases. Special achievements are rewarded with attractive additional remuneration. If you are taken on after your training, you can expect an attractive salary.

Your tasks - variety is guaranteed:

Tackling with brainsIndependent installation and commissioning of control, signalling and lighting systems
Systematic troubleshootingYou localise and rectify faults on controlled systems - unerringly and solution-oriented
Apply knowledgeYou read circuit diagrams, carry out tests on electrical equipment (DGUV regulation 3) and document your work conscientiously, repair independently and work on new construction measures
Security fanatics? That's good: You regularly inspect safety equipment and independently rectify any defects identified
Taking responsibilityMaintenance, servicing and repairs of electrical systems and equipment are in your hands

You don't have to be a superhero, but you almost do:

completed training as a Electrician, electronics technician, electrical fitter or a comparable qualification
Practical experience in the installation and maintenance of electrotechnical systems
Knowledge of the Building management system? Very welcome!
You are proficient in dealing with Circuit diagrams, measuring devices and are not afraid of MS Office
You work Independent, responsible and reliable
You are open, communicative and want to be part of a strong team

Core tasks:

Reading and realising technical drawings
Set-up and assembly according to ISO
General electrical connection work (shipbuilding)
Bending, fitting and tacking pipework
Construction of electrical control cabinets and systems
Final assembly of hydraulic units
Flushing and pressure testing hydraulic systems
Commissioning of hydraulic systems
Services for hydraulic and electrical systems

You offer:

Completed training as a mechatronics technician
Willingness to participate in further training programmes
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Fluent German and a good command of English
