THICK SHEETS
Cutting
Ostseestaal is able to process sheet dimensions of up to 16,000 x 3,200 mm and a thickness of up to 100 mm. In addition, we have a marking unit which enables us to apply resistant markings directly and precisely on the metal for further work.
The sheets are cut to size on oxy-fuel and plasma cutting machines. If possible, the sheets are cut simultaneously, i.e. parallel or mirror-inverted, on the flame cutting machines. This saves time and reduces costs.
COLD
Forming
Ostseestaal is the specialist in 3D cold forming of sheets made from steel, stainless steel, aluminium and special alloys. On a total production area of 15,000m², the plates are formed in two or three dimensions after they have been freely cut to size and are prepared for further processing, e.g. welding assembly. We are able to process sheet thicknesses of up to 100 mm.
ASSEMBLY
Welding
Ostseestaal is qualified and licenced for the production of high-quality, low-distortion welded constructions. Close collaboration with the Schweißtechnische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt Mecklenburg-Vorpommern guarantees that welding work at Ostseestaal is always carried out in accordance with current national and international regulations as well as state-of-the-art standards.
