Ostseestaal has been realising projects for EKATO since 2022. The Spiral stirrer is used in a wide variety of industries and is ideal for evenly mixing viscous substances. Each helix weighs around 25 tonnes and reaches diameters of up to 5 metres. At Ostseestaal, the components pass through our entire value chain: from cutting and cold forming to welding assembly, mechanical processing and surface finishing. In addition to the spiral agitators, Ostseestaal also builds Agitators and Lanterns for EKATO.

Over 40,000 mobile cranes from Ehingen are in use around the world. With Revolving platforms made in Stralsund, Ostseestaal is part of the success story.
Since 2023, Ostseestaal has been manufacturing high-precision slewing platforms for particularly powerful crawler and mobile cranes. These powerful machines are among the largest of their kind in the world. They perform crucial work in the construction of onshore wind turbines, for example, and are also used in bridge construction - wherever technology meets the highest demands.

Ostseestaal has developed the steel construction for the transport device of so-called „Transition Pieces“ which enable the sea transport of heavy loads, such as segments of a wind turbine.

Thanks to our ideal location, ships can dock directly at the quay. Ostseestaal ensures smooth processes there with state-of-the-art equipment, efficient craneage and excellent infrastructure - supported by a strong network and the best logistical connections.
For the Weser power station Bremen has Ostseestaal Turbine housing produced. The plant has 2 turbines and generates around 33 million KWh of electricity per year. One turbine weighs approximately 100 tonnes and consists of a composite of stainless steel and steel. At Ostseestaal, the turbines have gone through the entire value chain.

Ostseestaal took over the 3D forming of the aluminium elements of the Rotor blade exactly according to the aerodynamic specifications. The system is characterised by particularly quiet running behaviour: Even in strong winds, only the natural effects of the wind are perceptible - there is no noise from the rotor. The project thus combines maximum technical precision with comfortable, virtually silent operation.
The Power buoy is designed for large rivers such as the Danube, Rhine or Inn and can supply up to 300 MWh of electricity per year. Ostseestaal was involved in the entire development, production and delivery of the project. The entire system was designed for a service life of at least 175,000 hours.
