The stainless steel building shell is self-supporting 

The Porsche Pavilion in Autostadt Wolfsburg is designed as a "uniform, flowing continuum" – developed from the brand image of the sports car manufacturer. A new exhibition building with a seamless, cantilevered building shell in Monocoque construction was realised. In this lightweight construction, the supporting structure made of two-dimensionally deformed stainless steel sheets also forms the space-forming casing and is extremely efficient and sustainable.
