Completely new approaches had to be taken in this project, which involved a parametrically modelled aluminium hull. This was computer-optimised in terms of flow using numerical calculation points. The energy concept will also set new standards in shipbuilding. It uses specially developed control and optimisation software, a special magnetic mooring system and, for the first time, bifacial solar modules that can generate energy on the front and rear.&nbsp;<br>The capacity of 300 passengers exceeds all previous electric ferries and passenger ships designed and realised by Ostseestaal.
