Ostseestaal is a specialist for cold-workingLink steel, nickel chromium steel and aluminium.

In the approx. 13,000 m² manufactory, all plates are two- or three-dimensionally formed after cutting. On altogether 9 automated presses and roll presses, our highly qualified employees can shape plates extremely precisely, even when shaping seems complicated.

The fundamental construction of a ship provides the basic data for the production of individual plates without deform allowances as well as for the production of control templates for shaping.

The precise cut as well as the exact shaping of the plates form the basis for a 100% allowance-free assembly: An undeniable precondition for precise production in shipyard hull or sectional construction.

Moreover, thanks to modern production technology, Ostseestaal has the capacity to deliver the construction packets on 40 ft container-compatible transport palettes, ready for assembly, to the desired site of assembly and in the required sequence.

Precisely cut and shaped construction parts used for sectional construction in shipyards thanks to modern production processes are produced economically and delivered 'just-in-time', has convinced numerous customers particularly in the naval construction and shipbuilding industry.
